Oka Tee
Like no other, our Oka Tee is designed to be practical, functional and yet discreetly appealing for any genders. Carefully chosen to be buttery soft thanks to GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, each Oka Tee is individually hand dyed and screen printed using plant-based natural dyes.
Indigo – hand dyed using Indonesian Indigofera tinctoria leaves.
Pine – hand dyed Indonesian Indigofera tinctoria and Mango Seed waste.
Bone – hand screen printed using natural inks derived from coconut husks.
100% locally grown Indonesian raw cotton fibres.
Lūm textiles express the Sumbanese traditions through the hand weaving techniques using a backstrap loom.
The Indigo tone has undergone cold-dyeing process using Indigofera Tinctoriaplants, whereas the Lava tone is achieved by hand-dying the yarns using local Morinda roots, a native flora to the Sumbanese soil.
