Is the product description accurate?

We take care to describe each piece as accurately and thoughtfully as possible. Our product descriptions are written to reflect the materials, construction, and details of each item at the time of publishing.

That said, small variations or updates may occur, and we can’t guarantee that every description or piece of information is entirely complete or error-free. We reserve the right to make changes or updates to product information without prior notice.

How do I know my size?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. For fit or style assistance, please reach out to our Customer Care team at customercare@rupahaus.com who will gladly assist. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

You've run out of my size - will you be restocking?

If your size is unavailable, please select ‘notify me’ of a restock on the product page as we may recut the item

Do the photos reflect the true colour of your pieces?

We do our best to represent the colours of our products as accurately as possible through photography and descriptions. However, colours can appear differently depending on screen settings, device calibrations, and lighting conditions.

As a result, we can’t guarantee that the colour you see on your screen will exactly match the garment in person.

All SALE items cannot be returned or exchanged at any point.

Welcome 10% subscription codes cannot be used on sale items and only apply to full priced items.

Gift Vouchers & Credit Notes

RŪPA gift vouchers & credit notes are only for digital use on www.rupahaus.com. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years, and Credit Notes are redeemable within 6 months from date of issue.

Gift Vouchers & Credit Notes should be treated like cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Once expired, any unused portion of the voucher/note itself cannot be redeemed for cash.

RŪPAHAUS reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.

Pre-Orders

Due to the limited number of articles produced for every collection, the articles may not be readily available for purchase on the website. We therefore encourage you to secure them by pre-ordering through the website.

Once the pre-order request is submitted, a full payment is required to finalise your order. at RŪPAHAUS, we value your commitment and we reserve the rights to deny pre-order cancellation or refunds prior to shipping. The same Return and Exchange policies to normal purchases apply.

We ship worldwide with tracked delivery.

Orders are dispatched from Perth, Western Australia, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (AWST). Tracking details are provided once your order ships.

All RŪPAHAUS pieces are handmade, and natural variation is part of their character.
If your order isn’t quite the right fit, items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for an exchange, store credit, or refund.

Sustainability

Take Back and Recycle Program

We are always looking for the most innovative way to close the circular design loop and keep RŪPAHAUS pieces out of landfill.  So when you think your RŪPAHAUS piece has reached the end of its useable life, email us to discuss ways you can recycle them yourself or you are welcome to return it to us in exchange for a $10 thank you voucher to use towards your next purchase. Re:RŪPA Initiative

As part of our circular design process, we run an in house up-cycling initiative – re:RŪPA, where we purposefully re-integrate fabric offcuts to minimise production waste back into the brand; and ultimately giving these beautiful fabrics at least a second chance of life.

Do natural dyes fade?

Natural dyes age gently over time, much like natural fibres. With simple care — cold washing, mild detergents, and shade drying — your RŪPAHAUS pieces will retain their depth and character for many years. Any subtle changes in colour are part of the material’s natural life, not a fault.

Can I machine wash handwoven clothing?

We recommend cold hand-washing to preserve the structure and colour of handwoven fabrics. If needed, a gentle machine cycle on low heat can be used at your discretion. Avoid tumble drying, as heat can affect the weave and fit.

Why does colour vary between pieces?

Each RŪPAHAUS piece is dyed using plant-based processes and woven by hand. Variations in colour and texture are a natural result of this process and reflect the individuality of each garment. These variations are part of the design, not imperfections.

Are RŪPAHAUS pieces delicate?

Our garments are designed for everyday wear. While they benefit from thoughtful care, they are made to be worn often, lived in, and enjoyed — not stored away.

How often should I wash my RŪPAHAUS clothing?

Washing less often helps extend the life of natural fibres and dyes. We recommend airing your garments between wears and washing only when needed, using cold water and gentle detergents.
