Designed for comfort and everyday wear, our pieces allow for natural movement and ease. Garment measurements may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our pieces, as well as by style and intended fit.
Use the measurements below as a size guide to help you find the best fit for the body. All measurements are body measurements in centimetres.

How to Measure
Label sizes assume every garment in a run is identical.
Handmade cloth isn't — panel widths and hand-finishing shift a centimetre or two piece to piece, so a label size can't promise the same fit twice. A body measurement can. Measure in centimetres against your own body, not the garment, and the fit you get matches the numbers below regardless of small shifts in the cloth.
You will need a soft tape measure. Measure against the body, not over clothing.
Bust — measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.
Waist — measure around the narrowest part of the torso, typically a few centimetres above the navel.
Hips — measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, approximately 20cm below the natural waist.
What "One Size" Means at RŪPAHAUS
Not every piece is graded across the sizes above.
The Gali Jacket and the Gala Kimono are both made in one size, and that comes from the cloth. Lorek Weavers cloth runs in lengths of roughly 200 metres, and the panel widths that come off the loom set fixed points — a shoulder line, a sleeve, a wrap — that these pieces are cut to rather than graded up or down. Fit comes from the cut and structure, not from a size range.
The Gwyn Jacket works differently. Its cloth supports grading, so the Gwyn runs true-to-size across three bands: XS/S, S/M, M/L.

Piece-to-Piece Variation, Named Not Hidden
Our garments are handmade in small batches. Measurements may vary by up to 1–2cm between pieces due to the nature of handwoven textiles and hand-finishing. This is not inconsistency — it is the material reality of cloth made by hand.
If You're Between Sizes
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a relaxed, easy fit. Many of our pieces are cut with extra room through the body and sleeve — room to move, room to layer — so they sit comfortably across a range of body shapes.
