Closing the Loop
We make things to last. But when a piece reaches the end of its life — ours or yours — we believe it deserves a considered next chapter.
— Giving Materials Another Life
re:RŪPA
Every collection leaves behind something: offcuts, remnants, ends of cloth that didn't make it into a finished garment. Rather than letting these materials go to waste, re:RŪPA is our internal initiative to find them a second purpose.
Surplus fabric is reworked into new pieces, accessories, or passed on to our artisan partners for use in their own craft. Nothing is discarded if it can be given form again.
It is a small practice — but an honest one. Waste is not an acceptable by-product of making things well.
— Return, Restore, Recycle
Take-Back Program
RŪPAHAUS pieces are made to be worn for years. But we know that wardrobes change, and garments eventually reach the end of their wearable life.
When that moment comes, we'd rather have your piece back than see it in landfill.
This program applies to RŪPAHAUS garments only. We ask that pieces be clean before returning.
How it Works
Step 1 — Get in touch
Email us at customercare@rupahaus.com to let us know you have a piece to return. Include a brief description of the garment and its condition.
Step 2 — We assess it together
Depending on the garment's condition, we'll discuss the best path forward — repair, repurposing, or responsible fibre recycling through our partners.
Step 3 — Send it back
We'll confirm the return address and next steps. Once received, we'll take care of the rest.
Step 4 — A thank you from us
As a gesture of gratitude, you'll receive a $10 voucher toward your next purchase.
Responsibility doesn't end at the point of sale. We're in this for the long life of every piece — and we'd love for you to be too.
