Our Batik collection is created in South Yogyakarta by Mas Ta, using batik tulis, the oldest and most intricate Indonesian wax-resist technique, where patterns are drawn entirely by hand with a canting and built through layered waxing and dyeing.

Every stroke, crackle and dye line is unique, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind garment with no carbon copy — a piece defined by craftsmanship, individuality and the depth of its handmade origins.

• Crafted on 100% locally grown, lightweight organic cotton
• This piece is naturally dyed using plant-based material derived from Indigofera Sappan wood, Mahogany bark and skin of Beleric fruit
• Exceptionally soft, breathable fabric with a soft natural drape

• Cold, hand wash using mild detergent e.g wool/baby detergent (avoid citrus-based products)
• for convenience: gentle cold machine wash
• Do not rub or wring. Air dry flat or hang in shade
• Warm iron if desired
• No dry cleaning is neccesary – harsh chemicals may damage natural fibers, dyes, and the environment

Our plant-based natural dyes are colorfast. However, no dyeing chemicals means small color runs / slight fading may appear where the natural mordant has not taken to the fabric. Refer to our care for more info.
