Gala Kimono | Ahmir
The Gala Kimono is a piece made with intention, artistry and cultural heritage.
Each piece is individually hand-drawn using the traditional wax-resist batik technique, turning the fabric into a wearable canvas of living, expressive patterns. Created in collaboration with our master batik painter, Mas Ta, and the artisan collective in his Central Java atelier, every motif is painted entirely by hand — meaning no two kimonos are ever alike. This is the true nature of traditional hand-painted batik: a process that carries the maker’s touch, the rhythm of the village, and the depth of cultural craft in every stroke.
Designed with size inclusivity in mind, the Gala Kimono drapes comfortably across a wide range of body shapes and sizes, offering a relaxed yet elevated fit for everyday wear. With two practical pockets and a flattering calf-length cut, it adds effortless ease and refinement to any outfit. What you receive is a one-of-a-kind piece,
