Each carrier is completely handcrafted by the ancient Kanekes tribe, using slow, low-impact techniques that honour both material and tradition.

Crafted at its own pace, each string of yarn is created through a slow process where the bark is thinly peeled, roasted, and sun-dried over several days before being handtwined and handknitted into shape. Every piece carries subtle variations that reflect the integrity of the process and a deep connection between nature, maker, and object.
